What exactly is a Giclee Print?
The term ‘Giclee print’ represents an advancement in printmaking technology.
The images are high resolution digital scans that are printed with high quality archival inks directly onto watercolor paper. This process provides better color accuracy than any other means of reproduction. Special digital printers are producing limited edition Giclee prints of the utmost caliber that are now appearing in the finest galleries and museums around the world. They are more expensive to produce, but the quality is superb.
